“T-REX” Front Engine Dragster (T-REX)
$55.00
Description
The T-REX is a rubber band–powered, 1:15 sport-scale model of a vintage front-engine dragster. The laser-cut wood parts feature interlocking construction. The T-REX includes realistic details such as blower pulleys and belt, a distributor/magneto with eight holes, and cylinder heads with pre-cut openings—making it easy to add scale details like plug wires (wire not included).
The T-REX makes an eye-catching display model and is also a fierce competitor on the track.
Photos show the T-REX with optional “Raptor” spoke wheels, available separately.

STEM Performance Tuning
Improve your T-REX’s performance by applying Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) principles. You can adjust:
- Power: Increase or decrease power with wider and/or additional rubber string loops.
- Gear Ratio: Choose different pinion and crown gears to enhance acceleration or top speed.
- Wheel Weight: Add weight to rims for increased traction.
- Overall Racer Weight: Add or adjust ballast for optimal traction and stability.
- Aerodynamics: Sand the racer for better airflow.
Overall Length: 15 inches (38 cm)
